Abigail Crouch Acosta is an inspiring teacher and performer from Indianapolis, Indiana.
Since her affiliation with The Harp School in 2000, she has earned DipABRSM and LRSM in both performing and teaching, built one of the largest preparatory teaching practices in the Midwest, and established a free-lance performing career in the region.
A number of her students successfully continue their music studies at university level, solidly prepared by the Harp School approach with progress documented by participation in Associated Board exams.
Ms. Acosta is a member of the American Harp Society, National Federation of Music Clubs, American String Teachers Association, Music Teachers National Association, and the Indianapolis Piano Teachers Association.
Abigail is currently an active part of Legacy Bible Church orchestra, and plays solos and duets with her husband, who plays saxophone, flute, and clarinet.

Abigail began harp lessons at the age of nine with Serena O’Meara, harpist and teacher in Wisconsin. There she discovered the harp, and fell in love with the instrument. She also discovered the immense value of ensemble playing.
Abigail continued her study of harp performance and then pedagogy with Carol McClure at The Harp School, Inc. where she received her Diplomas and Licentiates in Harp Teaching & Performance from the Royal Schools of Music while training in the Angel Harp Method, developed for use of The Harp School, Inc. teachers.
